What’s Shakin’?

There’s lots of stuff going on around here. My blog and all of my blog friends are being sorely neglected. I’ll get back in the groove in about a month. Til then, here’s another quickie update…

The MD House

This time tomorrow, our MD house will no longer be our MD house. Tomorrow, we officially sign it over to the new owners. We’ll be renting back until the end of September. Which is very cool. We were not looking forward to paying an arm and a leg to store our belongings. Not to mention trying to live out of the WV place until we found a home. I mean, we love the WV place, but it’s tiny and not really roomy enough to house us, our dogs, and our belongings (clothing, office equipment, etc.) long term.

The VA House

Yep, you read right. I meant to say “the Virginia house” because we are in the process of buying a house in Virginia. If all goes well, we’ll be the proud new owners of a house in Fauquier County, Virginia by the end of September.

The Blog

I’ve been having self-inflicted technical difficulties. Long story. Still trying to work the bugs out of some stuff.

The Shaking

Yes, I felt the earthquake yesterday. It freaked me out a bit, but all is well. Shannon is jealous that she moved to California, but we still got to experience an earthquake before she did! The dogs were less than thrilled when the earth moved, but they got over it quickly.
