Nothing Has Changed

I did not win all or even part of the $640-million Mega Millions jackpot.

That's a LOT of Money

But it was sure fun daydreaming about how I would spend all of that money.

One good thing about living in Virginia, by law there’s a certain percentage of profits that must got to K-12 public schools in Virginia.

The crazy-big jackpot generated about $22 million for the schools.

I don’t feel too bad about having spent $9.

Wanna know what’s sad, though?

You have to match all five of the numbers drawn plus the mega ball. So there are six numbers, total, per line.

For my $9, I bought a total of 54 numbers.

I checked our tickets last night. After comparing all of my nine tickets with 54 total numbers, I discovered that we only had ONE of the numbers.

The good news? I am still the same, old, modest me. Not poor, but not filthy rich by any stretch.

Which means I need to hit PUBLISH on this post and get to work.

Did any of you have better luck than me?
