Critters

Meg found this little guy. I named him Arnold.

Meg and C enjoy the outdoor dining experience.

C shows off her dirty feet.

Some people call C "Princess," unaware of her affinity
for rolling in stinky stuff. After finding a really stinky pile of animal
crap to roll in, you can only imagine how bad she stunk! Mike's first words
were, "So, where is SHE sleeping tonight?" Fortunately it dried up
enough so I could brush it out. She was still pretty smelly, but it wasn't
quite as potent.

Meg and C enjoying a shady spot.

"Hey, what was that noise?"

"THAT stupid little bug made that sound?"

There are toads in West Virginia, too!!!

Meg greets me with her customary morning "hug."

C resting.

C after Meg woke her up.

I FINALLY Got Some Deer Pictures

You are NOT seeing double. There really are two fawns in this picture. White-tailed deer are known for producing twins. In a recent Texas study, statewide over half of the pregnant does examined had twins.

This is my favorite photo of the twins.

A doe seems to pose for the camera.

There really are a lot of deer in our subdivision.
Sometimes you have to look closely to see them.

Another Mom and baby.

And another...

This Mom is pretty skinny.

Skinny Mom or not, I think this is a neat pic!

Look closely here. One fawn is looking at the camera.
Another fawn is behind the first looking away from the camera.
And there's another young deer lying down on the right.
