Dowsing for Water

Family and friends have been pitching in to help.
Knowing we needed a well drilled, Mike's Mom swung into action,
dowsing with her divining rods to find us some water!
Such focus!
She found a few good spots, but this was her favorite.
Mike marked it with a pink flag.
The well driller was not able to get his rig to the exact spot. But, if you look
closely at this picture, you'll see the flag is about 15 feet from the actual well.
The well is only 200 feet deep. He hit water sooner, but the flow was not
strong enough
so he drilled down some more.
