How Many Grandparents Do You Count?

Mike and I went to visit Amy and family last night (July 25, 2007).
We took Mike's Mom with us. And a surprise visitor ...
Mike's Grandfather, Pop Hallock.

There were five generations all in one room.
And Pop Hallock started it all!

Here's Pop Hallock, age 95, with Joey, age 3 weeks.

Brianna and Gaige are always happy to see visitors.
They are both very nice, outgoing, loving kids.

I think I remember saying Gaige cooperates for pictures sometimes.
This was taken not long after we had arrived, so he was still excited.

Great Grandma tries to convince Joey to pull her finger.

My mother-in-law gets the award for funniest quote...
"I've never had a problem with being a grandmother.
I've been a grandmother for years. But being the
mother of a grandfather is somehow different."

Pop Hallock with all the great-great-grandchildren.

Here's the five generations I mentioned.

Do I look like a natural?
Being a grandmother is cool!

It is hard to say who Joey will look like.
Most of the time, I see Amy's features in him.
But this expression is TJ all the way.

This is my favorite Joey photo of the evening.

This picture just makes me smile (even if I do look old).

Joey was on Mike's lap in this picture.
Mike thinks he is going to get Joey to say "Pop"
before he says "G". Amy thinks he should
work on "Mama" first. But I'm pulling for "G".
