Mike and I spent the weekend with the grandkids. Their Dad, TJ, is in the Army.
He went away for 40 days to Warrant Officer training in Alabama. Their Mom, Amy,
who managed to survive 40 days alone with three kids and remain sane, went to
Alabama to see TJ graduate. It was an adventure for all of us!

Gaige and Brianna "helped" Uncle Eric rake leaves. One of the great things
about kids is that their enjoyment wasn't at all hampered by the realization that
there was almost surely a good bit of dog poop mixed in with those leaves!

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures. Is this kid cute, or what?

Meg seizes the moment and hops on Pop's lap while the little people are all occupied.

Lunchtime! See Pop in the background feeding the baby?

Gaige's eyes are bluer than blue.

Pop is expert at making Joey laugh, giggle and shriek.
