The important task for this weekend was finishing the soffit on the gable ends.

This weekend it was Mike's turn to ride his motorcycle to WV.
I couldn't resist this one with the foliage in the background.
The back soffit. Truth is, this is a picture of the leaves with
the soffit as an incidental subject. Mike said I wasn't taking enough
pictures of the work and too many "creative" photos.

Meg, aka NUTmeg and Crazy Girl, is 8.
Notice her dirty nose? It is hard to stay clean in the woods.
I really have taken TONS of fall color pictures. I just love all the reds and yellows
and the way they contrast with the evergreens, moss, lichen, and even the blue sky.
This weekend was particularly spectacular. I didn't want to overload my WV pages with
