We were supposed to come up last weekend to do attic insulation.
We stayed home because Mike was sick. It was actually good that we stayed
home because by midday on Saturday I was actually pretty sick, too.

We were going to do insulation this weekend to make up for
last weekend. Unfortunately, there were no blower machines
available at Lowe's. So we missed insulating the attic again.

We ended up doing drywall finishing instead.

The second spare bedroom is well on its way to being complete.

Mike is putting the final touches on the spice rack.

We had an extra cabinet door, so figured we'd
take advantage of a little bit of extra space.

Sunday, since there was STILL no insulation machine available
at Lowe's, we decided to hang the final drywall in the garage.

It went up relatively quickly.

There weren't too many obstacles to work around.

The electric panel—where the power comes into the
house—was the largest obstacle Mike had to cut around.

This is the VERY LAST full sheet of drywall
to be cut for the entire house.

Here I am putting a final nail in place.

These two small pieces needed to be hung over the garage door.

A celebratory picture was in order because ...
we are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FINISHED HANGING DRYWALL in the house!!!

Now we have a finished garage.

Next weekend, we'll be insulating the attic. We hope so, anyway.
