Memorial Day Weekend...The Work Continues
May 26 - 28, 2006
I stayed home for the weekend to spend some time with Eric and
get some long-neglected yard chores done. Mike went to WV without me, primarily
to get a couple more coats of drywall compound on the bathroom walls.
While he was there, he installed the garage sink.
He did some drywall finishing...
...and installed the vanity light fixture.
Then he did some more finishing work.
And more. I'll be learning how to do that myself real soon.
He even installed some porch lights. Cool, eh?
We'll get to the porch roof eventually.
He also did some wiring for outdoor flood lights, so we can spot any critters
(or crazy hillbillies) that come crashing through the woods in the middle of the night.
He discovered another bird's nest, too.

These wires will supply power to the light fixtures that will
be hung on the outside of the garage (three in all).
