Okay, it wasn’t Chris Rock himself. But it was a guy that looked a lot like him (at a glance through wet windows). And it for sure sounded like Chris Rock. Except he wasn’t very funny. This guy was talking about some sporting event (baseball? basketball?) or something else uninteresting enough that I tuned him out.
I couldn’t have paid attention anyway since, as I mentioned earlier, K was freaking out. That’s not all that surprising. It really was sort of loud. Belle was pacing rapidly with a WTF look on her face, too. And Meg? She’s deaf, so she was sound asleep.
It sounded like the house was being run through one of those big, automated car washes.
They barked a lot at first. Once that stopped, Belle continued her pacing and K clung to Mama. She sat on my lap for like an hour. Which doesn’t make typing very easy. I was on a pretty long teleconference for a while, though, so it was okay.
That shot took quite a few attempts. She was practically hugging me. And my arm is only so long…
Here’s my favorite shot of her worried look.
Isn’t she a pretty dog?
I hope you are having a good Friday!
I’m not surprised. Dogs are attentive to their environment, usually more than us, and they couldn’t understand what was happening. Naturally, their anxiety rose. From their perspective, this was as scary as a life-threatening tornado.
