Recently, I came across images from a national park in Ohio that I’d never heard of: Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP).
It looks really pretty, and it’s relatively close to home. This link might (should) work if you want to see pretty pics from the park. They’re not my pics; I’ve never been to CVNP.
I included a few Flickr images from other photographers below. Click on each for credits.

Looks like a really cool park. Is Ohio hot and humid?
It probably can be in the middle of the summer. Probably safest to visit in Fall.
Wow. How did I miss that? My dad lived a dozen miles from there and I never knew it. Geez. I’ll have to pay a visit the next time I’m out that way. Thanks for the head’s up.
That looks pretty. Always something to see in the forests especially with the water, whether lakes or streams.
I have hard time keeping up with all the daily posts of this challenge, so forgive me if i just pop in from time to time. 🙂
That looks beautiful, Kathy! And I had never heard of it before either. I will have to find a list of all the national parks, and get busy! lol
I can’t believe I rode just north of there on my trip and miss it. I have family in Ohio and will have to make a trip back there sometimes soon.
I need to add “visit local natural wonders” to my 2017 to-do list. I feel a topic brewing: 5 natural wonders within an hour of home. I suppose 5 within 5 would be more catchy. Thanks for all the inspiration!
